To support our customers that have achieved ISO 9000
Certification, and also for those customers that are presently
working toward ISO Certification, Central Scale Company has
developed a documented Quality Management System which
incorporates methods and procedures that comply with ISO 9000
requirements in the inspection and servicing of scales, balances,
and other weighing devices.
The objective of Central Scale Company is to supply top quality
services that meet or exceed the standards required by our
customers and by law. We are committed to the efficient delivery
of safe and reliable products worldwide.
Central Scale Company strives to implement and
continuously maintain our commitment to these objectives through
a dynamic Quality Assurance System based on the International
ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Quality Control is an integral part of all the company's
management and services provided. It is not a separate element or
function: Each and every aspect of the day-to-day operations of the
company shall be conducted in accordance with the quality
policies contained in our Quality Policy Manual, which was
designed to to integrate human, technical and material resources in a manner that
produces optimum results consistent with the highest possible quality
standards.
There are no exceptions to this commitment. Each and every
employee, including management, is expected to understand and
work toward our quality commitment. Success requires satisfied
customers. This Quality Assurance System reflects the company's
total commitment to achieving the goal of meeting the needs of our
customers efficiently and safely.
Major Elements of our Quality Management System include:
- Detailed policies and procedures for the service and certification of
scales, balances and other weighing devices; including
documentation, training, tolerances, testing, traceability and other
related matters supporting ISO 9000 requirements.
- Equipment tested, calibrated and certified to N.I.S.T. (National
Institute of Standards and Technology) utilizing serialized master
and field service test weights. State or registered independent
metrology laboratories certify these weights at regularly scheduled
intervals.
- Prompt, reliable notification and scheduling of testing services to
assure that equipment certification is always kept current.
- Equipment repaired, calibrated and certified by factory-trained
service technicians according to documented service and testing
procedures as set forth in ISO 9000 guidelines.
- Complete reporting of tests and calibration on specially designed
forms furnished upon completion of work.
